About Luc

For the last 7 years Luc has been working for Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, where he worked on several web projects for the Art Department. In 2005 he started working as a learning technology analyst for Queen’s ITServices. More recently, he has been the driving force behind the Emerging Technology Centre which is now in operation. Luc is the New Media Consortium director for the university.
He is a strong advocate of the use of appropriate technology, and the need to make technology more approachable. Luc has been a strong believer in the relevancy and merit of Open Source and Free Software for a number of years and - wherever appropriate - uses it for himself and for his clients, integrating it fluidly with other technologies. Outside of work, he enjoys playing squash, cycling, traveling and spending time with his family.
